it will be labled cigarette lighter it should be red in color and be a 10 amp fuse. there is a fuse block on the drivers sider under the dash near the emergency brake / hood release. please rate this...thanks

SOURCE: radio fuse line for 2006 toyota tacoma
There is a fuse panel under the dash above the brake pedal and some behind the radio

under the hood on drivers side right behind the battery. Will be marked trailer light left sand right.

- Locate the power wire that goes from the fuse panel to the passenger side headlight. Follow the wire from the headlight back to the fuse panel to determine its path.
- Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical accidents.
- Cut the power wire as close to the fuse panel as possible.
- Remove the old wire from the fuse panel and run a new wire in its place. You can use the same gauge wire as the original.
- Connect the new wire to the fuse panel and the headlight. Make sure all connections are tight and secure.
- Reconnect the battery and test the headlights.

Most 12 volt outlets/plugs like one would plug a GPS into or a cigarette lighter, are 'hot' all the time. This means that they are hooked direct to positive side of the electrical system. If your cigarette lighter is not working check the wire from it to the hot side of the fuse block.

Mine is 2003 kw 900 cat c15 switch is at top drivers side of clutch peddle access through panel for ignition. I checked the switch and it was getting power but not passing through switch, pulled the 2 wire off sure enough green corrosion on terminals. Took a machinist file cleaned them off works fine welcome back Jake and Tom Cruise lol ?? ?? ??

i have a 2005 T-800 C-13 put a brand new starter in and the relay switch gets hot and shuts the truck down i have to let the plug aka fuse cool dn and it will start again help this is week two with a tow bill already and still cant fiqure it out
