I’m giving this place 2 stars and I kind of think that’s generous. They took off my “soak off” gel polish with a tool (forgive me I don’t know what the sander tools are called). During this process, she nicked my skin at least 10 times causing pain. I vocalized this a number of times. She got down to the last three nails and I guess was tired of hurting me, so she proceeded to rip them off by hand. I think I was literally sitting there with my mouth open just wondering what the hell was going on.

They were nice people. My only issue was that I didn’t have enough to do a gel refill so I got regular polish on a Thursday and by Monday afternoon my nails look like it’s been a week. I’ll try again when I can afford gel polish and see if I’m still not happy with my service.

Critical:Professionalism,QualityI am not the type to leave reviews , but after going here for YEARS. I expect so much more! Last time I went I was in there for HOURS because of the favoritism that Long’s clients received in comparison to those to those who do walk ins. They told me I was next in line for a pedicure which was perfect because I had to be somewhere two hours later. As the woman who does pedicures calls me over, his client who only came in for a full set expresses that she wants to do her toes at the last minute. HE TELLS ME TO HAVE A SEAT because she needs to go before me. That alone made me want to leave but because I normally get my toes done here I waited. This past Saturday I went in to do a gel mani and pedi. Today is Thursday and this has been how my nails have looked since monday! Sunday was when my thumb had chipped! When I expressed to her that they weren’t neat she got an attitude and told me “it’s just your skin”. I’m done with this place. Between Long’s awful attitude and bias to them having people who are obviously incapable of neatly preforming their duties. The worst nail salon I’ve been to! I got a gel pedi and a new set with French manicure. The woman who serviced me rushed for no reason and did a super rough job. I have patches of uneven paint on my nails. She even painted the white lines onto my manicure unevenly and tried to convince me that it looked okay so she didn’t have to redo them. Please take your business elsewhere!

i like to review nail salons after i’ve had my nails done for about a week and this is why. i got dip powder and it lasted less than a week even though i was told it lasts up to a month for most people. i work remotely from home so i’m not that hard on my nails that they should be chipping before a week has passed. my roommates are also having the same problem with lack of longevity. if anyone finds a place in boston that can do my nails so they last more than 2 days let me know!

Critical:Quality,ValueI was super disappointed with the service. I got a regular meni + pedi and the quality was just so bad. The nail tech was rushing for no absolute reason, the salon was no where near busy! The finish product on my nails was so so bad. She left brush stroke from the polish and the clear polish (very noticeable)!!! The finish was not smooth at all. I walked in with really high hopes, unfortunately I will not be returning. Just really bad service overall.Maybe she was just having a bad day, I’m not sure, still that should not be an excuse for poor service. I was super disappointed with the service. I got a regular meni + pedi and the quality was just so bad. The nail tech was rushing for no absolute reason, the salon was no where near busy! Unwelcoming bad customer service. Very rough with treatment of my hands. I asked a simple question regarding the price breakdown of my acrylic gel nails and Holly responded very irritably and raised her voice. When I first started going here in 2014 the customer service was very nice, Holly provided me with a warm welcoming atmosphere and her skills are great so I continued my visits. As time went on the quality of service declined immensely. They are also under staffed. Every time I go regardless of whether I’m the first one there or mid-day, I wait for about an hour before finally getting my nails done. I stuck around for Holly’s skills but after today I’ve finally had enough. I wish them the best but they need to get their attitudes together as well as an accurate fixed price chart!

I would give this place no stars. Long the owner is rude and his mother Holly is unprofessional. She does not use safe nail practices. She made my nails bleed trying to ripe a piece of acrylic off my nails. I told her it was painful and I prefer to soak my nails off. She gave me such an attitude and slapped the top of my hand. I told Long and he just rolled his eyes. I walked out and didn’t pay for my nail removal. I’m not going to pay some one to hurt me. I will be reporting them to the state board.
